Located on a busy side street off Bulevardul Magheru, this is in fact Bucharest's oldest synagogue, dating from 1827. It is one of just three synagogues in Bucharest which still holds religious services.

Services take place when Sabbath commences on Friday evenings, as well as on Saturdays at 09:00.
