Café Jan van Gent

Café Jan van Gent
Although bird watchers won't find the tough sea bird Jan-van-Gent in urban Ghent, the relaxed atmosphere makes visiting this cosy pub with the same name definitely worth your while. Although the furniture is a wild mix of styles, somehow it all comes together perfectly. Come and have one of the five beers on draft, if you're interested in the story of the many stuffed animals on the wall and the large window. Our tip: the blond Keizer Karel (Charles Quint). The two different outdoor terraces, with heated chairs, are also real crowd pleasers.
