You can hardly miss the Veliko Tarnovo tourist information centre, situated right in the town centre at the main square. A purpose-built one-storey construction, it is well manned by 4 or 5 helpful staff and has free information brochures to give away as well as taking bookings for hotels, car rental, excursions, guided tours and the town's famed 'Sound and Light' show.
