Markets in Groningen
Every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday (09:00-17:00) the squares of the Grote Markt and Vismarkt are filled with stands of veggies, fruit, cheese, fish and other groceries. Nearby A-Kerkhof holds the flower and plant stalls. On so called Shopping Sundays the Grote Markt is the decor of a general market from 13:00-17:00.
The summerfair of the books/antique/vinyl market is held five times a year around the Zuiderdiep, Folkingestraat and Vismarkt. On Sundays between May and September, starts at 11:00. More information: bergerendevries.nl.
