If you fly KLM frequently and have collected plenty of air miles, you can soon exchange them for a rather unusual outing. The Netherlands’ largest airline will start offering trips to space in 2014! You'll also be able to purchase tickets but at a price of €72,500 per seat this incredible flight might just be out of your price range. Competitor Virgin thinks that they’ll be able to offer a similar trip as soon as 2012 with a rented spacecraft called the Lynx. Here too, the price-buster is clearly cheaper than the Dutch national carrier. A return trip to space with Virgin will cost 'only' $20,000. From a height of 100km, where space supposedly begins, you'll be able to photograph all of the cities covered by
In Your Pocket in one go, or maybe the hole in the ozone layer.
