Cafés
's-Hertogenbosch café culture has always been one of our favourite things about the city. Not unlike the Italians, the Dutch share a love of espresso and cappuccino, and cafés in Den Bosch often offer much more than just a cup of Joe or tea with some pastry. Most provide a menu of soups, salads and sandwiches, so the border between restaurants and cafés is very thin. Have a look at our carefully selected cafés and pick the one that is just right for you and
Eet smakelijk (bon appetit)!
When the weather's good the entire old town is abuzz with activity at the pavement cafés that line nearly every street. So be on time when the sun's out, because the terraces tend to fill up quickly. During the colder months things move indoors, but thanks to the national smoking ban you're still likely to find a fair amount of patrons outside huddled under heat lamps and blankets puffing away on coffee's significant other.
