There are six Arthouse cinemas in Zurich, most of them situated in and around the Niederdorf part of the old town, most of them in old buildings with charm and style. The Arthouse Movie we list is the only one with more than one screen, showing studio and independent movies rather than blockbusters, just as the other Arthouse cinemas.
