Le Chef

The chef here is well known TV personality Meta Hildebrand. She obviously loves daring gestures, be it dyeing her hair a fiery red, adorning her restaurant with purple walls and images of women with moustaches or by composing her menu surprise, which we recommend. Her so-called evergreens also sound rather adventurous, like baked tomato soup with vanilla oil. Ingredients are dazzlingly fresh, usually locally sourced and combined to maximise their best qualities. In memory of its notorious former chef Fred Tschanz stroganoff is also on the menu, in case you fancy something more traditional. Good food, but not inexpensive. Smoker’s lounge with service available.
