At Tre Fratelli the décor is spartan and, as the restaurant is made up of different rooms, it feels a bit like you're eating in someone’s flat. The cuisine is both innovative and Swiss, meaning that the chefs often serve dishes like water buffalo (bred in Switzerland, when available) and black Gascon pork steaks, which had a tender, yet intense flavour. A bit more run-of-the-mill, but also delicious, is its beef tartar. Finally, the Toblerone chocolate parfait we had for dessert was a sweet and delicious end to our dinner. The quality food and the snug garden makes the extra travel worthwhile, so take bus N°46 from the centre, which drops you off almost in front of the venue (Lettenstrasse stop).
