This is not just your average Thai restaurant around the corner. Sweet Basil is a small, really friendly place with a tasteful decoration in black and white. But even more importantly, they cook very well. The so called Thai tapas we ordered for a starter, a mixed platter with shrimp cookies, spring rolls and the like didn’t just look awesome but tasted even better. The geng khary (yellow curry) we had as a main course was full of fresh tastes and as expected just a little spicy (the really spicy stuff is marked on the menu) and the service was friendly and attentive. A more than pleasant experience all in all. For lunch they offer four deals which change weekly.
