Permanently closed!

A gem of a restaurant with excellent cooking and a low-key style, that’s the Grüntal. It’s located close to Escher Wyss Platz in Zürich West. On offer is a small, seasonally changing choice of straight forward dishes from the Alpine region (okay, the mussels with fries they have in winter don’t come from a mountain lake). The fleischvogel (beef olive, rolled stuffed beef) and the vegetarian starter we chose were remarkably tasty and the terrace is lovely. The chocolate mousse we had to finish off could have been airier, but nevertheless we definitely will come here again. Remarkable wine menu.
