Quite unique for this part of Europe, Korça has a ramshackle but pleasant beer garden directly beside the Birra Korça brewery. Both types of Birra Korça brews are served, along with cheap grilled snacks. In summer, it's quite lively with families coming to enjoy the weather and live music.
Nice description.
The beer garden of Birra Korça is unique in the region (at least in Albania and the neighbouring MK and GR areas) and will attract especially people culturally attached to those kind of places. The local variety of qofte (which I cannot spell - krancke or whatever, like cevapcici), served with bread, onions and pommes frittes, are perfect to accompany the beer (which is not of outstanding quality, but not bad either and very cheap also for local standards). It is regrettable that the brewery's best product, its dark beer, is not served as draught. In the warm period, it might not be easy to find an empty table, and as with Central European beer gardens, all ages and kind of people go there. If there is live music, one should try to find a table far away from the speakers, otherwise it's way too loud. During the cold season, the small beer hall inside doesn't look fancy, neither it pretends to - the more a reason to hang out there for some pints, as it has a distinguished charm, very much down to earth.
