A small workshop that has been active for four generations, now employing 12 ladies working on hand looms. The Mjede family business uses cotton and silk to produce handkechiefs, scarves, table- and bedspreads, curtains and more, with red and white colours dominating and often decorated with the typically Shkodran gaps between segments of cloth. A great place to see how traditional weaving is done, to see 150-year old samples and buy finished products (€2-130, silk scarves €25) in the adjacent shop. Diana understands and speaks some English.
