The reasonably comfy three-star rooms behind the half-circle facade overlook the central square and the mosque. Some rooms have balconies. The staff is friendly and speaks English and Italian, the plumbing works well, there's a good restaurant and bar, the breakfast room is the place to meet anyone doing anything in town, and when the city's electricity is switched off at 08:00 every morning you hardly notice the transition to generator power. Note that the double glazing is no match for the loudspeakers of the mosque just across the road, so bring earplugs to avoid having to pray for an early power cut at 04:45.
