A less than inspirational-looking place on the hill behind the train station, at first glance it appears a bit behind the times - much like the photo of a Concorde hanging in the lobby. But we give it credit: the service and accommodation are first rate, and they somehow managed to secure the domain name hotelgrand.com, which has to count for something. Also, if you're staying over the weekend there's a 99% chance of seeing a wedding party downstairs - crashing it is entirely up to you and we take no responsibility for the consequences.
