Located opposite Mash bar, Opera’s high stools and tall tables pull in a twenty-and-thirty something crowd, with good cocktails and slick service, and occasional live music. The back room is filled with low-slung sofas, popular with younger couples and teenagers on dates, all of whom tend to live at home with their parents. They sip warm Nescafé and fruit juices and snog their way contentedly through the afternoon and early evening.
