Clinging to the side of the hill a few kilometres above Baščaršija, this family-run restaurant has been a Sarajevo institution since it opened in 1988. In a beautifully converted house with multiple dining areas, the menu contains all the Bosnian standards at prices similar to what you'll find in less-inspired settings below, and the food is unanimously considered some of the best in the city. Definitely a must visit on any trip, just make sure to call ahead for reservations as window seats are scarce and demand understandably high.
