Established in 1955, the theater has played host to more than 300 plays with three million people paying to come and see them. The theater has also traveled to participate at a number of international festivals, including in other countries of the former Yugoslavia, Italy, Poland, and Bulgaria, as well as in and around the Republika Srpska.
