Boat excursions

Senj is a good base for trips to the neighbouring islands, with a couple of local companies offering boat excursions during the summer season. Popular destinations include the beaches and medieval towns of Rab and Krk, and the memorial site at Goli Otok – the notorious labour camp which housed political prisoners during the communist period.
