Located on the western coast of Mljet, a section of this area falls under the National Park with its charming surrounds of thick alpine woodlands. Rising after World War II, the town now has 50 odd inhabitants who live from agriculture, fishing and tourism. The bay of Pomena is perfect for small yachts and the Small Lake is only 200m from the local hotel.There are lots of amenities and attractions available here whilst still retaining its serenity and privacy.
