The emblem of Osijek zoo is a running cheetah and you will indeed find a pair of these lean spotty cats lurking somewhere in the middle of this riverside complex – although given the size of their cage they’re unlikely to be doing much running. Elsewhere zebras, raccoons, emus and other animals await inspection, and there’s an aquarium section full of scary reptiles.
