When I go home from Split I usually travel by ICN train to Zagreb Gl. Kolodvor. I think this is train which is not longer journey about 6 hours....Main train station
I think you're wrong,there are also 2-3 daily trips to Zagreb with so-called "tilting train" which takes about 5:30 hours....By plane
The Croatia Airlines bus also meets other major flights like Easyjet etc, so you don't have to fly with Croatia Airlines to use it....By bus
Just be aware that the above relates to the COACH station, which is on the waterfront near the train station and ferry terminal, not the BUS station which is tucked away in the centre of town....
