Public toilets in Split

There are several spots that are labeled as having a public toilet around the city, but not all of them are open. The safest option is to use the facilities of a bar or café while having a drink on the premises. The best public one, complete with staff on hand to keep it clean and tidy is on Kralja Tomislava (I-2). It should be said that some of our female staff members felt a slight hint of sexual discrimination, as a cabin in the public WC runs 4kn, while those of us able to stand and do their business will only have to pay 2kn. So much for gender equality.
