Car rentals in Zagreb
The roads in Zagreb are fairly well maintained, and traffic moves about with an admittedly decent degree of order and efficiency. The tram lines and prevalence of one way movement requires drivers to be especially alert and thoughtful as they move about, thus we advise you to put your cell phones in your pocket and save the shaving/make-up application for another time. Finally, and even though it may appear otherwise (especially as you are gripping the plastic door brace of the taxi with all your might) the speed of travel is capped, 50km in town, 80km on secondary roads, and 130km on the highway. And tsk, tsk, tsk, of course drinking and driving is illegal, and actually we won’t even go into the minimum acceptance numbers (fine, it’s 0.5%)… not a wise consideration to be considering. Whoops, and one other thing: a driver’s license, registration papers and Green card are all mandatory.
