Iconography of the city
The exhibition Iconography of a City will fill 14 halls on the first floor of the gallery with 200 masterpieces by Croatian artists. Urban themes and city motifs in oils, sketches and graphics, on posters and on photographs are the artistic foundation on which we have built the interdisciplinary character of this exhibition (history, literature, film, music, architecture and more). A range of supporting cultural events will be held at the opening and throughout the duration of the exhibition: dance performances, film screenings and book promotions; while professional guides for all target groups will be organised, along with children’s workshops and other cultural activities.
