Today’s Gradska Kavana was opened in 1930 and was able to receive up to 600 guests inside and 300 guests out in the open area. Decorated in the Art Deco style, it was one of the most beautiful and most luxurious cafes in the heart of town. However, over time the ‘Gradska Kavana’ was forgotten and other cafes set the benchmark as being the place to be. These days, we are proud to announce that the former glory and shining glow of the Gradska Kavana is back. Having regained its charm, visitors are able to sip coffee, nibble on breakfast or even dine on specialties from the Zagreb region. All this can be topped off with the traditional offer of coffee and delicacies.
