'Potepuh' in the dialect of the Zagreb region means something like “troubadour”, and refers to the statue of Kerempuh outside on the Dolac marketplace (the upper part, where they sell flowers). Kerempuh is the main character, a wandering minstrel, in the most famous poem by classic Zagreb-born writer Miroslav Krleža. Local in spirit this little bar is indeed. On weekend nights the place is fairly bursting with youthful spirit and a Croatian music soundtrack. We especially recommend their medovina – a deceptively potent spirit made with honey.
