Customs

Visitors are allowed to import the normal allowances into the Czech Republic: 200 cigarettes, 2 litres of alcohol. There are no limits on bringing money into the Czech Republic, and on departure you can take up to 200,000Kč without custom approval. Visitors are allowed to export goods from the Czech Republic for their personal use or as a gift. If the exported goods require any special legal permission (e.g. protection of cultural monuments, objects of museum value etc.) they must be presented to customs officials on departure. Obviously duty free doesn't work anymore within the EU.
