Bohemians 1905, the once small struggling club nicknamed the kangaroos has now rejoined the big boys in the Gambrinus liga. In 1983, green and white Bohemians won the Czech league and got to the semis of UEFA but this season has not gone well for Bohemians 1905 and they currently sit fourteenth in the league. The fans here are dedicated but well behaved and when the team was once relegated for insolvency, the fans paid off half the debt. The kangaroo logo and epithet stems from a 1927 tour of Australia when the team was given two kangaroos – they were donated to the Zoo.
