From a rather chilly greeting at the front desk, the other staff prove as friendly as the décor is stylishly designed. Warm rooms have minibar and a safe in a decidedly Japanese theme, with draped cloth, corner sofas and ingenious light fixtures. The hotel chain’s resort theme is shown here in the prints on the wall and the small but gorgeous wellness spa in the basement. Lovely.
