Beas
It is all vegetarian at this modern self-service affair. Original Indian metal trays hold your chosen menu – small or large curry meal, noodles, parantha menu, the massive thali and more.

Haveli
Have a seat in the bar area on the ground floor and watch Indian music videos with the staff, or dine in the beautiful cellar restaurant under vaulted ceilings and the watchful eyes of ancient gentry in paintings on the walls.

Himalaya
A functional take-away curry house with one table and a couple of stools if you really can’t wait. Excellent samosas, spicy jalfrezi, creamy korma, dal and chapattis make fairly cheap appearances.

Himalaya
The owners of Himalaya in Vinohrady have long wanted to open a restaurant space for their usually quality Indian cuisine and despite some initial iffy reviews, the census seems to be a good one: the menu is wider and spices hotter.

Tandoor
This restaurant is known for being one of the more authentic Indian restaurants in Prague with unbelievably-priced jalfrezi, korai, vindaloo and the eponymous Tandoor variations.

Chanchala
Serving specialties from southern India, Chinchala is a fun place to get your fill of vindaloo, masala or papadums. They offer varying levels of spiciness and the prices aren’t too bad either.

The Pind
Oh the heat. After years of dulled down Indian food catering to sensitive Czech palates, The Pind storms in and sets us on fire.
