Summer capital

Summer capital

Pärnu is indeed Estonia’s official ‘Summer Capital’ and if you’re reading these words it probably means that you have an interest in visiting this fair city. Because Pärnu is so summer-centric it also means that the majority of activities, the widest range of restaurants and the biggest choice in accommodations are also available during the sunnier months.

Opening hours also change here during the warmer months and although we’ve tried our best to list summer hours wherever possible, you just might find that you’ll be able to wine and dine later than we mention you might be able to.

You may or may not be aware that the weather in Estonia can at times be unpredictable, they do after all have a saying here that Estonia has bad skiing weather all year around. But based on the winter and spring we’ve had thus far, we truly think that we’re in for one heck of a beautiful summer and there is no better place to enjoy it than on the beach in Pärnu.

Enjoy your stay in Pärnu and don’t forget the sunscreen!

The staff at Pärnu In Your Pocket are not trained or licensed to be able to predict or forecast the weather, and as such do not accept responsibility if it happens to snow in Pärnu, in July.
