Estonian-Swedish Museum [Rannarootsi Muuseum]

This museum chronicles the history and culture of ethnic Swedes who settled Estonia's coastal areas and islands during the Viking era. Most of the country's 8,000 Swedes fled during World War II, though they retain a strong connection to their Estonian village roots. Don't miss the colourful timeline tapestry in the back room, and look for a special exhibition on those who fled in 1944. Traditional weaving and needlework is on display in the Vormsi room, upstairs.

Admission €2.
