Electricity

The electrical current is 220 volts AC, 50Hz. European plugs work in most sockets, but a few Soviet-era buildings still require the thinner-pinned Russian version. There aren’t many outages in Estonia, but voltage levels can be a bit erratic in old neighbourhoods and in the countryside, making computer work all the more interesting.
