A former shale mine has been turned into this unforgettable, underground museum. Visitors are given hard hats and coveralls, then taken into the mines, where they can see the equipment in action and learn about the mining life. For a small fee you can also take part in the 'Miner's Lunch', which is an experience unto itself.
