Part of a large Estonian chain of mediocre pubs, the most Irish thing about the Dubliner is the Guinness beer on tap and the picture of Bono on the wall. The microwaved garlic cheese bread, lacklustre service and soggy schnitzel left us feeling a little limp. Needless to say, we were rather unimpressed with our overall experience, but we hear that it can be a fun place for drinks and an inexpensive lunch - we'll let you decide for yourself.

horrible place. they do not care about their customers. they are looking just for money. expect to get beer mixed with water
To say I wasn't impressed would be a bit of an understatement. The beer was not of the standard you would have expected in an 'Irish' bar. The pork meal I had consisted of about 50 fat and was the portion one would expect a child to be given.
First time and last I'll go there (and I've moved into Tallinn). The review does justice, nothing special. But what really annoyed me was the service which is particularly bad even for local standards. Being ignored I went to the bar where I waited for two minutes staring at two waitresses coming and going. After being ignored I called them. One stared blankly at me and kept doing her stuff. The other waved at me like she wanted me to go away. A third guy who was there serving beer (all I wanted) simply ignored me while he was putting a beer. He wouldn't even look at me or say "moment". You won't see me there ever again.
Ive just e.mailed The Dubliner to say how much I enjoyed my frequent visits to it.Never got the urge to try the garlic bread but every meal or snack I had I thouroughly enjoyed.Wonderfully tasty and very well presented.not to mention very inexpensive. As to the service all the staff I found very helpful and not hovering over you at all times.I find if you cant catch their eye its only a short walk to the bar where there is someone only to willing to serve. After my first visit it was the only placeI frequented for the remainder of my stay in Tallinn.
