The unofficial command centre for the city's gay scene, X-Baar has acquired a lived-in feel, but loyal customers (both men and women) keep it lively by jamming onto the tiny dance floor after midnight.

  We dropped in on a quiet monday night. Very unfriendly lesbian behind the bar, who did not seem to have any interest in ´talking to us or making visitors feel welcome.
