Everything old is new again - or at least in the Rotermanni Quarter it is. It's there you'll find this stylish yet elegant eatery nestled into an old, industrial limestone building. The cuisine, artfully prepared by a son of Naples, is an innovative and fresh fusion of world flavours. The service is equally crisp but not too starchy. We quite enjoyed the tempura and the decadent desserts.

Welcome to Estonia. Service is consistently slow here (at best) or simply slow and impersonal. There are very few places with consistent good, prompt and friendly service (although speed in service is 80% responsibility of the kitchen, so...). Platz is a place to go for a glass of wine before actually going to eat somewhere (eating there for me has proven consistently disappointing - saving the desserts).
Don't go here if you're in a hurry. We wanted the daily pasta for launch, and after 30 minutes, asked where our food was.We were told to be patient, because they were busy (not that many people where there). 10 minutes later we asked another waiter, only to have the first waiter telling us, that she just told us to be patient.45 minutes later, we got our pasta of the day, which should take less than 10 minutes to bring. That took away the focus on the place actually being nice, and the free salat for starter, and water to drink didn't make us fell happy enough, to forget about the bad treatment we got.
