Vanaema Juures

True to its name, Grandma's Place treats its guests to a warm welcome and a cosy dining room filled with antiques. Take heart that there's no sign of the big, bad wolf here, though wild boar is occasionally on the menu. Elk roast is a regular feature and the lamb with bleu cheese comes highly recommended. Reservations are a good idea for Friday and Saturday evenings.

We were there last week. What do I think of that visit ?Too many people for such a small room rather fussy service tough beef. The pork was not delicious too. Only my elk's flesh made me glad but my relatives were dissappointed.Overrated place I should say.

my husband and I went inthis restaurant because the one we intended to go in was full and we were so glad we did! The food was fantastic the service and staff excellent and friendly. It was very reasonably priced and the restaurant itself was lovely!

Me and my brother's trip to Tallinn on September 23 and one night we ate dinner in the restaurant's grandmother. Restaurant atmosphere was very warm and pleasant the restaurant service was very good. The foods that we placed an order was delicious and good quality. But everything was better in the restaurant staff were very warm and friendly. We recommend this restaurant meals while traveling to Tallinn.Copenhagen 28 09-2011

My son and I visited this restaurant last week we came upon it by chance and as we hadn't booked we felt very lucky to get a table as it was so busy. Our meals were perfect and the staff very friendly I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone visiting Tallinn.

Last week visited this place with my wife and son. We was visiting my cousin who is living now in Estonia. I must say - the place is gorgeous! Not very luxurious, but it was so comfy and sweet. I felt that I´m a young boy again and eat dishes, that my grandmother made. Unbelievable!I ate wild board roast - it was unconventional, but tasty! My wife ate some vegetarian food with mushroom. And my son had a pork roast. All of us were satisfied and I really can say - go there and you can have very wonderful evening!

This is easily the best restaurant in town. It is quite romantic with its' candlelit interior, smiling, but not fake, friendly service, tasty food (the lamb, o.m.f.g., the lamb!!!!) make this such a good choice.
