If it’s an aristocratic Russian experience you’re after, Klafira, strategically located on Vene tänav (Russian Street) is the perfect place. Beautifully decorated to take you back to the wealth of 19th-century Russia, the cosy, old style atmosphere and friendly service make this more of an all-out experience than just another meal. All the favourite Russian delights can be found on the menu and a few more exotic ones for adventurous diners. Live Russian music will keep you entertained even if your date happens to be a bore.

The food and decor here is super. I tried the four course tasting menu and although the portions weren't large you get a feel of the 'pearls of the Russian kitchen' as the combination is called. A live dance show in the evenings (perhaps only on friday and saturday?) was quite fun and entertaining to watch. And the people are dressed up in traditional costumes - the waitresses look especially nice ;)The service was friendly too in fact it was the best I experienced in the city during my 4-day stay.
Awesome food. Cozy atmosphere. We had four-course lunch menu. Borscht was superb. Stroganoff smooth, and silky. Bellini’s just right. Would go back in a heartbeat.
