Narva Kohvik

Narva Kohvik
The heavy and somewhat overdone interior falls somewhere between cosy and ominous, but this old-timer's continued popularity is probably down to sticking to the same formula: keeping everything simple and cheap. Peruse the attached bakery or just slip into the long, dark salon and brood.

Kohvik Narva is one of my traditional stops in Tallinn. The food is very good and plenty and the prices are fantastic! Excellent quality-price ratio. The problem was always that it took forever to get attended... of course it was worth the wait but sometimes it was too much (if you decided to have something more than you ordered where was the attendant?)... But since 2012 they have a new system no separation between the bakery and the café you ask and pay beforehand and things arrive to your table faster. The food is still the same quality! Great!

Windows are so dirty that you can't even see from outside that there actually is a cafe. Customers are mostly old Russian women. Prices are so cheap that you can't believe it. Service was so slow, that I did not have time to wait forever.
