Goodwin has certainly tried hard to be the best steakhouse in Tallinn and it probably is, even though it’s really the only one. The interior is certainly rich and woody like an old ‘men only’ club, the service is efficient and the imported cuts of beef are some of the finest we’ve seen in town. There are a few quirks though that prevent Goodwin from earning ‘top marks’. The side dishes cost extra, the steak wasn’t cooked to our specifications and they asked us to cut the steak in half to complete the cooking process. Other than that the beef was very flavorful.

In terms of atmosphere, this location in the old stone building on Mere pst. beats the Narva mnt. one hands down.
