Winning the title 'European Museum of the Year 2008' , Estonia's largest art museum makes its home in this enormous, cutting-edge facility built into a limestone cliff in Kadriorg. It serves as both a national gallery, displaying treasured works from Estonia's past, and as a contemporary art gallery, showing the latest trends. While here, be sure to explore the fascinating complex, built by Finnish architect Pekka Vapaavuori. Through August 12: Undiscovered masterpieces. Russian art from collections of the baltic countries. Through August 26: With the Eye of the Romantic. Through September 09: Tõnis Vint and His Aesthetic Universe. Through September 30: Speed of Darkness and Other Stories.

Admission to permanent exhibition €4.20, contemporary art €2.60, all exhibitions €5.50.
