TIYP Turns 10
Ten years ago, in December 1997, the first issue of Tallinn In Your Pocket (TIYP) rolled off the presses. The new pocket-sized magazine was immediately hailed as the Estonian capital’s first sharp, and all-encompassing city guide, and has since won the praise of major international publications such as Lonely Planet, Rough Guides, Let’s Go Europe, The Guardian, The Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal, just to drop a few names. To celebrate our tenth anniversary and send long-time readers into fits of nostalgia, we’ve put together this small retrospective that imparts the exciting story of our beginnings and our evolution over the years.
