Monument to the Homosexual Victims of the Nazis

Ebertstraße, Mitte ,   Berlin-Mitte         more than a year ago
In Tiergarten park, the four-metre high monument with a screen showing a film of two men kissing was erected to commemorate the 55,000 gay men that were deemed criminals by the Nazi regime, and the estimated 15,000 killed in the concentration camps. Their suffering had been long suppressed; only in 2002 were these victims formerly rehabilitated.
