Japanese composer and visual artist Ryoji Ikeda has designed an exhibition that unites the two symmetric east and west wings of the museum. The exhibition title db (short for decibels) relates to this symmetry.

Gerhard Richter - Panorama
Gerhard Richter, arguably the most famous German artist of his generation, celebrates his 80th birthday this February. This large retrospective exhibition of his oeuvre is in collaboration with the Tate Modern in London and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.

Pacific Standard Time. Art in Los Angeles, 1950–1980
LA has an impressively diverse art scene, demonstrating there's more to it than Hollywood, sun and palm trees. The exhibition draws attention to international artists like John Baldessari, David Hockney, Edward Kienholz and Ed Ruscha, as well as lesser-known ones like abstract painters Helen Lundeberg and Karl Benjamin, ceramists such as Ken Price and John Mason or acclaimed sculptors like DeWain Valentine.
