Built in GDR times for Party bigwigs but now completely overhauled, the Westin is a classically-furnished delux hotel in an enviably good location. From the huge atrium hall (with a copy of the Adlon's marble staircase), the round pool, the copyrighted Heavenly Beds and the upmarket restaurant to the sumptous suites with butler service, this place breathes quality.
