Public transport
Cologne's public transport system is clean and efficient. There are buses, trams, and U-Bahn (metro) and S-Bahn (commuter) trains. It is possible to get day tickets that cover all the options in the centre, and the 5-person ticket is a good deal. Tickets can be bought from machines on the platforms or in tram cars (coins only).
