Fährhaus Rote Mühle [Red Mill Ferry House]

This 18th-century mill house on the banks of the Ruhr used to serve as a waystation for busy ferrymen, but now you can spend a lazy summer afternoon on the terrace watching life float idly by  a perfect place to rest after a stroll or bike ride along the river. The restaurant inside serves standard German fare.
