Most Frankfurters will tell you this is a restaurant you must visit, and so we did. Always packed with locals and tourists alike, Wagner's is a truly German experience. Start off by ordering a bembel (pitcher) of applewine -those with weak stomachs should however partake in moderation. Then choose from traditional fare like wurst and schnitzel. You may have to stand on your head to get the waiter's attention, but you'll enjoy the festive atmosphere.

  Our visit here in the Spring was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. Rude, rude, rude service. We used to recommend Wagners, but never again. From other visitors we have spoken with, they too have walked away from Wagners, astonished at the extremely poor service. Perhaps it is time for management to perk up their ears and listen to the multiple complaints about their establishment.
